If I should describe events on Lake Como, I would use one word: Balbianello. It is a wonderful Villa from XVIII century visited from many travelers and writers and owned by Guido Monzino. From 1988 the Villa was given to the FAI association in accordance to his wishes and from that moment it became one of the most beautiful "public" properties we have in Italy you can visit with magnificent gardens and view.
I work at Balbianello taking care of the catering service for a Michelin Starred Chef of Milan area: he is enabled to give his services as he belongs to the official list of caterers of the Villa.
Villa Balbianello is a very high budget location where you can really organize stunning scenographies and a real lifetime memory. You can access the Villa by water or by foot walking a 15 minutes path through a small hill. Villa Balbianello boasts the most sought-after "Loggia" for wedding ceremonies and very enchanting terraces for the reception.
